Project overview
A significant portion of the transgender population faces severe challenges due to systemic discrimination and lack of opportunities. Alarmingly, 75% of transgender individuals are forced into prostitution as a means of survival. In Chile, 70% of trans and non-binary respondents report experiencing violence, with 64% stating they have faced denigration and dismissal of their professional or labor opinions. Furthermore, 50% of Chilean employees have been excluded from social and work meetings, and over 40% have suffered psychological harassment, including insults, verbal aggression, humiliation, and isolation by their colleagues. Additionally, 47% of trans and non-binary individuals perceive unequal treatment compared to their male peers, particularly in terms of benefits, promotion opportunities, and salaries.
After identifying the problem, it is defined that the product to be developed will be a cell phone application that allows searching for inclusive work focused on the trans and non-binary population in Chile.
Objective
Create a mobile application that will be a link between companies and trans/non-binary workers, so that they can access job opportunities in a safe and confidential manner.
Specific Objectives
- Allow the creation of user job profiles with pronouns in sight.
- Produce filters to speed up the search for jobs according to the user's needs.
- Ensure that affiliated companies promote and respect labor inclusion.
- Generate employee evaluations (reviews) to corroborate the compliance of the companies.

Interviews
Surveys were conducted via meet to find out what users thought. What they thought or what activities were the most recurrent.
Conclusions
Survey results highlight critical issues that need addressing. There's a clear need for an application that tackles users' major concerns and helps them access better employment opportunities. By analyzing data from interviews and surveys, we can confirm the challenges users face, such as limited job opportunities and disrespect for pronouns, which aligns with our goal of creating a Mobile App to connect the community with regulated, safe jobs that protect their identity.
Moodboard
A moodboard was created to understand what we wanted to visually represent the concept.
Construction UI KIT
After researching the needs of the project and analyzing the best practices in design, a complete UI Kit has been developed in Figma.
This kit includes all the essential elements to build the prototype, from buttons and forms to icons and typography. Each component has been carefully designed and organized to ensure a smooth and consistent user experience.
With this UI Kit, you will be able to build the final prototype efficiently and effectively.

User testing
- Test the fluidity of the application flow.
- Evaluate the coherence between design and subject matter.
- Analyze the correct use of inclusive language.

Tasks to be performed at Meet and Maze
- Create an account.
- Apply for a job
- Go to the 'My profile' section, go to edit and save your changes.
-Search for a filter (Maze task).
After the data obtained, improvements were made to the prototype.
